Summer Competition Winners!!!

Helloooo all my lovely readers!

The time has finally… finally… arrived.

It’s time to announce the winners of the Summer Competition!!

When I first brewed up this idea of hosting a summer-themed competition, I had mixed thoughts. A small part of me thought it would explode and be the coolest thing since sliced bread and blogging tags, and another part was convinced it would be a complete and utter failure, maybe with one or two entries and a very sad me thinking that I couldn’t have come up with a stupider idea (is stupider a word? I don’t think it is but it really should be!)

Well, I was shocked and happy to receive as many entries as I did, especially because I don’t consider myself a professional blogger with loads of followers. I have my small group of loyal readers (I love you all) and I struggle to keep up with my own networking goals because either I’m having internet problems, or work gets really busy, so thank you everyone for making this competition, and the showcase the beautiful, happy success it was!

I’m sure you don’t want to read about my reflective ramblings though right?? You want to hear who the winners are for the three competition categories don’t you??

Well I won’t keep you in suspense any longer!!

The winners are…

*Drum roll*

In the blog post category – EVA FROM BEYONDTHEBLOG for her wonderful step-by-step post on constructing an indoor tent for a more lockdown friendly camping solution!

In the creative writing category – ADITI from What are you Up to during the Lockdown?? for her poem titled Summer: the season of joy

And in the art category – ELENA for her stunning painting of the Amalfi Coast!

All three winners will receive a ยฃ50 Amazon voucher (so please be in touch so I can send them to you), but even if you’re not a winner, all the entries were absolutely superb. I couldn’t have faced picking a winner myself which is why I asked everyone to vote, and lots of people said it was so hard to choose so thank you everyone for your fantastic entries, and for making this competition so successful!!

That brings me to the very end of Tall Blonde Tale’s Summer-themed competition 2021. I really hope you all enjoyed it, and if you entered, that you had fun creating those submissions. Would you all be interested in me hosting this competition again next year? Any notes to make it bigger, better and more beautiful? Let’s chat in the comments section!

Congratulations once again to our three winners, and thank you all so much one final time (I think thanking people might be my superpower… I just do it wayyyyy too much!)

Lots of Love
