So yesterday I started Blogmas on quite a gentle note, just dipping one little toe into the festivities to get you ready, but now I think it’s time we dive headfirst into all things Christmas. I’m talking Christmas music playing way too loudly, playing in the Snow, the smell of cinnamon, ginger, chocolate and pine needles, drinking enough hot chocolate to drown in and eating enough food to create a food baby you’ll be nursing until Valentine’s Day. And… what better way is there to dive headfirst, without a second of hesitation, into as much Christmassyness (is that even a word?? If not it should be), than by kicking off Blogmas with an updated ultimate Christmas-time bucket list. This one is even more special than last year because it’s 25 tasks for 25 days – so let’s see how many you’ve already done, how many you plan to do and how many you tick off by Christmas.

Now I’ve seen a lot of other bloggers do this sort of thing, and because we all know I’m a sucker for lists, and I’m finally in a country where I can do these things a little bit more, I thought I’d share an Autumn bucket list, both for all of you to tick off what you’ve done, and also to give us some inspiration of fun things to do before the festive season takes over!
I know I mentioned it in a previous post that I visited the Warner Bros Studio Tour – the making of Harry Potter, with my university friend while we were on a little jolly holiday. I also said I would do a post on my experience there and honestly, it was such a fantastic day that not writing a post just wasn’t an option. If you’re thinking about visiting the studio, but for whatever reason you aren’t 100% sure, let me try and convince you… here are six reasons why you absolutely have to visit Warner Bros if you’re a Harry Potter fan. If these don’t convince you, I don’t know what will!
Growing up, I was never into bucket lists for multiple reasons. I’d always struggle to get through them, or I wouldn’t have anyone to try them with, but now, I think they can just be a great excuse to try new things or make fun or silly memories. Hence, this summer, I figured it would be really fun to make a summer-themed bucket list. Over the next few months, I’m going to try and get through as many of these as possible, either by myself, with my boyfriend or with friends. Plus, what’s super great about this list is that it’s lockdown friendly (so if things with covid have made summer plans difficult, hopefully, there are some things on here for you). Right… Let’s see what’s on this lockdown friendly summer bucket list.
There are so many fantastic ways to celebrate Christmas and so many special activities that are unique to this time of year. Also, because I love lists, I thought it would be cool to share a Christmas bucket list, filled with all the things that I think are absolutely essential to complete before the end of the holiday season. Right – what’s first?
Turning 20 is a pretty significant milestone, more so than a lot of people make it out to be. Why? Because you’re no longer a teenager! You’re leaving the teens behind and heading into the big and scary 20s where things like full-time employment, mortgages, marriage and even kids start appearing (depending on what part of your 20s you’re in obviously) … scary how grown-up that sounds doesn’t it? Today I’m going through a list of 20 things to do before you turn 20, seeing as that big day for me is only 2 weeks away … AHHHHHH!!!
CALLING ALL POTTERHEADS! This is not a drill. I repeat. This is not a drill!
I wanted to thank you all – wizards, muggles and everyone in between – for your patience in waiting for part two of this list to come out. As promised, here is the second segment of the Ultimate Harry Potter bucket list. Hold onto your brooms, and let’s see how many of these you’ve ticked off your list.
Muggles, this is not a list for you. In fact, I think only the most avid Harry Potter fans will attempt to cross everything off this bucket list. But fear not, this is not the Ministry of Magic and Umbridge is not here so everyone and anyone (muggles included, we do not discriminate here) who enjoys Harry Potter is more than welcome to attempt this challenging list. This is the list for those who know the stuff about witchcraft and wizardry inside out – the extreme, adoring fans of JK Rowling’s magical world. So, for all those who adore Harry Potter, the true Potterheads out there or simply those who appreciate the series and want to give this a go, I’ve rounded up a long list of things that I think ever Potter enthusiast should try to experience at least once in their lifetime. Keep reading for Part One of the Ultimate Harry Potter bucket list (part two to follow next week)
