I love Harry Potter! As all of my friends and family know, I am a huge Potterhead (what big Harry Potter fans are known as) and a proud Hufflepuff. Seeing as I have spent the last two and a half months in England, I decided to take advantage of the Harry Potter ‘heritage’ as this is where the Harry Potter Warner Brothers Studios are and where JK Rowling got a lot of inspiration for the books. In one of the last blog posts (Fun things to do in Oxford), I mentioned that walking tours are a great idea to see the sites, including Harry Potter sites, so that is what two of my friends and I did the other day. We walked through the city and got to see some of the film locations, as well as see and learn where JK Rowling got some of her inspiration from. Curious to see these sites? Well then you’ll need to keep reading 🙂

From the moment I started this blog, and that was only three and a half months ago, people asked me why. Why was I starting a blog? Why do I want to blog? Why do I continue blogging? I ask myself these questions almost every day. There are thousands of blogs out there, and despite the positive feedback I get from all of you, my readers, I still wonder about why I do this. I doubt my abilities to produce good content, grow this blog and turn it into something that might be profitable all the time. But you see, as much as these questions can come from a place of self-doubt, they are usually the most important to answer. If you can’t tell someone why you are doing something, then why are you even doing it? Another ‘why question’ – see? They are everywhere! The ‘why’ question is so important because it can tell you so much about a person. Today I’d like to share with you the reasons why I blog, so keep reading to find out more!
I love stationery. Whether it is pens, coloured markers, notebooks or washi tape, I can easily say that I am stationery obsessed. Though, with the popularity of the stationery market these days, how can you blame me? There are so many choices to make when it comes to starting or adding to your stationery supplies and collections – infinite colours and sizes and qualities that it all starts to swirl into a rainbow mess of creative equipment. My point is that there is stationery available for any situation that you could think of, and with this being said, it can be pretty easy to get overwhelmed by it all and decide to stick to that one black pen. Even though it is tempting to just say no to everything or walk out with your credit card balance dangerously far into the red zone, there are actually only a few essentials that can get you through almost anything. So, if you’re like me and need help stopping yourself from buying everything (or you just don’t know where to start because there are too many choices), then keep reading to see my list of stationery must-haves.
We all lead busy lives – be it work or school we can all get swept up in getting things done that sometimes we just need to take some time to relax. One of the best ways to relax, at least in my opinion, is just to put on something comfy, grab some popcorn or a hot drink and watch a movie. Movies are a great way to relax because they allow you to be comfortable and not focus on anything work related – all you have to do is eat your snack and get swept away by the story on the screen. That being said, sometimes it can be tough to get to your movie night because you are stuck picking a movie. There are thousands of movies out there in different genres, and sometimes that magnitude of choice is just overwhelming. If you find that you aren’t feeling up to spending time searching your movie collection or pouring through streaming sites, here are some awesome movies that you can watch (so that you don’t have to waste your chill time finding a movie – you can just go right ahead and start)
And suddenly you just know … It’s time to start something new and trust the…
