One of the blog topics that I saw a few people were interested in from the feedback form I sent out was about blogging advice or tips. I’ve always found it both fun and challenging to do blogging advice posts because I don’t think I’m anywhere close to being someone who can give advice to others about blogging (as I’m still very much an amateur blogger). However, it’s still a fun thing to do because I think you can always reflect back on your own experiences and learn something new. So today, I’m going to be kicking off my blogging advice series – 10 posts all centred around blog-related advice or tips, starting with tips for writing a last minute blog post

I’ve never been big on celebrating Halloween, but this year (of all years … yes I’m aware of the irony) I’ve decided to put a bit more effort in it and let me say, just because all the typical ways to enjoy this spooky night of ghouls and goodies aren’t available, that certainly doesn’t mean you can’t still have a fun night. So, today I’m going to be sharing a few ideas for last-minute Halloween celebrations – read on if you dare mwahahahaha!
Hello everyone! Today I’m doing Halloween inspired sweet treats – a step by step recipe for sweet and savoury pumpkin pasties (inspired by Harry Potter) and some spooky gingerbread biscuits! I hope you enjoy it and it puts you in the mood for Halloween this weekend!
The prospect of university brings so much to get excited about, but no matter how enthusiastic you are about becoming an independent adult and heading off to uni, sometimes you can’t help but miss home just a little. Leaving home and moving away for university is a huge transition no matter where you’re coming from, some who might live around the corner and others who are an eleven-hour plane ride from everything they know. The key to remember though is if you’re suffering from homesickness, I can guarantee you’re not the only one. Today I’m going to go through my top tips that I learnt from last year and have gathered from my uni friends for getting over homesickness so that all you need to worry about is making the absolute most out of your uni years.
Hi everyone!! SO today I’m celebrating my 20th birthday. Yup that big scary number that means I’m leaving my teenage years behind forever and am now officially an adult with no escape. Because today’s a special day, I;m doing a little survey to see what you all think of my blog and so I’d really appreciate it if you could fill it out and let me know your thoughts (I’m also trying to raise money for WWF so if you would like to donate xx). Thank you all in advance! xx
In the spirit of making the most out of your uni years, from someone who has experienced uni for a grand total of two weeks, I’m going to be going through a list of top tips for making a great start to your tertiary education years. Starting off on the right note can have such a positive impact on your experience, and set the ball rolling for even greater things to come, so that’s why I’ll be going through these tips with you today.
I’m officially at university now and have just finished my Freshers/Induction week! WOOOHOOO!! My tertiary education is officially on its way, and soon I will embark on what I’ve been told will be the busiest 3-4 years of my entire life. I’m still not sure whether that should make me anxious or excited. Perhaps both? Today I’m going to be chatting about my freshers’ experience, what it’s been like doing it during this pandemic and a few tips for still making the most of your start of university despite the restrictions that are in place.
Turning 20 is a pretty significant milestone, more so than a lot of people make it out to be. Why? Because you’re no longer a teenager! You’re leaving the teens behind and heading into the big and scary 20s where things like full-time employment, mortgages, marriage and even kids start appearing (depending on what part of your 20s you’re in obviously) … scary how grown-up that sounds doesn’t it? Today I’m going through a list of 20 things to do before you turn 20, seeing as that big day for me is only 2 weeks away … AHHHHHH!!!
As promised in a previous post, I said I would do a little blog on my two weeks of self-isolation just so that you guys can see what I’ve been up to during my first two weeks of living in England and anyone who wants to know can see that I am following the rules of isolation stringently
Hey everyone! So I’m starting university next week Monday and moving-in-day is looming and let’s just say I’m more than a little nervous about it all. I don’t think the transition course I did about prepping us for uni life helped. And so that brings me perfectly into my post topic for today – nerves about new beginnings, and how to deal with nerves.
