Blogmas Day Twenty Three – What your favourite Christmas beverage says about you

Christmas-themed drinks are all the rage. No matter where you go, you can see people sipping festive drinks from coffee shops, stacked in all the stores, for sale in your favourite cafes, restaurants and cute little Christmas stalls. With that in mind, I couldn’t do a post without acknowledging all these glorious beverages. I had such fun with the post I wrote last year about What your favourite Christmas cookie says about you that I thought it would be really cool to try one with Christmas drinks. Sooooo without further ado, here is a fun little post about what your favourite Christmas beverage says about you!

Blogmas Day Nineteen – Christmas Collab with Aditi

Today I’ve got a really fun Blogmas post, that’s actually been a few months in the making. Aditi from What Are You Up To During The Lockdown? is one of my closest and oldest blogging friends and we’ve worked together quite a bit but over the summer we were planning to do an interview-style collabb where we ask each other some fun questions and then share each other’s answers. Because we were struggling to think of a theme for our questions, Blogmas was a huge savior for us because we both love Christmas, and decided some Christmas themed questions would be perfect. So, what we did is share a few questions with each other and answer all the questions (both our own and the ones sent by the other – 8 in total) and now we are going to share each other’s answers here in our blogs.

Blogmas Day 16 – Hosting your own Christmas Cosyfest

I suddenly realised that I haven’t talked about any sort of Christmas party/celebration ideas or tips. While I could always talk about Christmas organisation, I think that kind of takes the jingle out of a Christmas carol when you’re talking about lists and planning… sooo a fun way to get around that I thought would be to talk about how you could host your own fun Christmas event. So I can chat about something organisational, and you readers can also get some inspiration if you’re still at a loss for a fun way to host people for Christmas this year. One of the events my Disney society hosted was Christmas cosyfest, and it was such a fun event that I thought it would be fun to share the details in case you decide to host one yourself. Not only is it really easy to do, but it’s also a super relaxed and fun Christmas event, so for those looking for event inspiration … here is How to Host a Christmas Cosyfest.

Blogmas Day 13 – Hot Chocolate Appreciation Day!!

Because there are so many delectable, Christmassy variations of hot chocolate being sold everywhere (and I mean everywhere – honestly, my self-control is being tested every time I leave the house when I see things like spiced cinnamon hot chocolate available on special), I thought it would be a fun idea to do a little Hot chocolate appreciation post. And just in case that isn’t enough for some of you, I’m also going to be sharing some super easy recipes for these different types of hot chocolate, so it’s a two in one post today. Lucky you!

Blogmas Day 2 – Christmas Bucket List!! 25 tasks for 25 days!!

So yesterday I started Blogmas on quite a gentle note, just dipping one little toe into the festivities to get you ready, but now I think it’s time we dive headfirst into all things Christmas. I’m talking Christmas music playing way too loudly, playing in the Snow, the smell of cinnamon, ginger, chocolate and pine needles, drinking enough hot chocolate to drown in and eating enough food to create a food baby you’ll be nursing until Valentine’s Day. And… what better way is there to dive headfirst, without a second of hesitation, into as much Christmassyness (is that even a word?? If not it should be), than by kicking off Blogmas with an updated ultimate Christmas-time bucket list. This one is even more special than last year because it’s 25 tasks for 25 days – so let’s see how many you’ve already done, how many you plan to do and how many you tick off by Christmas.

Blogmas Day Twenty Two- The Best Holiday Beverages

One of my favourite parts about this time of year is all of the absolutely amazing food and drink that you can only truly appreciate during this time of year. Whether it’s a hot drink to warm you up on a cold winter’s night, something with a bit of caffeine to get you through your morning, or even something cold and fresh to stop you from melting in the summer heat, I absolutely love the fact that Christmas comes with its own range of beverages. So, I thought it might be fun to go through some of the best holiday beverages (be it hot, cold or whatever). Let’s see how many of them you enjoy drinking during the holiday season 🙂

Blogmas Day Ten – The Best Christmas Desserts (and what they say about you)

Getting into the holiday season can mean plenty of people to entertain, events or activities to cater for or you just feel like you need the extra sugar to get you through the month of merriment. No matter your reason, the answer usually means that you need to make something (or have something available) for everyone to nibble on, or to keep you going at midnight. I don’t think anything captures that holiday cheer more than a Christmas dessert. Today I’ll be chatting about the best-ever Christmas desserts (at least in my opinion) in case any of you are looking for inspiration, but also what your favourite choice says about you. I hope you enjoy it!!

Best Hot Drinks for Wintery Days!

I love a good hot beverage. Whether it is to wake me up in the morning, relax me in the evening or just to keep me from turning into a popsicle on a cold winter day, hot drinks are the best. In South Africa, it is currently heading towards summer, so the temperature outside isn’t really conducive to drinking things that steam. It’s already so hot outside that rain steams off the road two hours after the storm started, so a steaming hot cup of tea isn’t exactly what you’d like. However, I’m not in South Africa right now. I’m on a little trip to the US of A for college-related reasons and much to my body’s despair and my tea obsession’s joy, it is wintery as can be this side of the world. So, in lieu of the fact that I’m spending a lot of time outside of beautifully heated buildings wearing many layers of protective thermals, the only thing keeping me going is the steady stream of hot beverages gracing my gloved hands. Today I will be chatting about the best hot drinks for wintery days – sharing my favourite steamy drinks with you and giving you a list for just in case you end up somewhere cold and need something hot and delicious to keep your spirits high and your hands warm. I hope you enjoy it!
