Welcome to another Blogmas post, and today I thought I would share a super fun (and easy) Christmas craft tutorial. This was inspired by a session that I hosted in my Disney society. During the term we held a craft and cake session at one of my favourite cafes in Durham (it’s called Hatters, and you can read about it in my post I wrote about my top 5 places to eat in Durham) and made Disney-themed crafts. One of which was a snowman and the best part about it is it uses mostly recycled material(s) and rice that we got from the zero-waste store I volunteer at, Scoop. So today I’m going to share the tutorial for this craft because not only is it super fun to make, but it’s also just an adorable Christmas craft using some pretty basic (and reusable) materialy. I hope you enjoy it!

Father’s day is this weekend!! How are you all feeling about it? Today’s post is a small trip down memory lane for me as I share my Father’s day memories and traditions, and I’d like to hear some of yours! I hope you enjoy today’s post
This may not be you … but there are a few of us who look at the calendar and realise with a big shock that a significant day like Father’s Day is only a day or two away. Oh damn! How on earth are you meant to find a nice, meaningful gift in time, and make sure it doesn’t look like you completely forgot and got the first semi-appropriate gift you could find? It can be tough, and no one wants to be in that embarrassing and awkward situation so don’t worry! I have a solution for you. Do you want to know what that solution is? Well then click on this post and keep reading to find out 🙂
Hello everyone! Getting crafty seems to be becoming much more of a trend nowadays. While it was once considered a laborious chore, it is now something people find fun. People seem to enjoy making things now. I’m not sure if that is because it is easier (and cheaper) to get materials, or apps like Pinterest have made them so easy to do, but crafting is now a well-loved activity. Personally, I’ve always loved crafting. Maybe it is because it’s an excuse to use an excessive amount of glitter, or just because the creative in me loves taking bits and bobs of random material and turning it into something pretty. So, I was scrolling through Pinterest looking for inspiration for today’s post, and I kept seeing so many DIY craft posts that I thought, why not? I’ve always subscribed to the philosophy that homemade is more meaningful, and with Valentine’s Day around the corner it is a great way to knock out some handmade gifts and cards for my friends and family. Two lovebirds with one cupid’s arrow, so to speak. So today, I’ll be doing a step-by-step craft tutorial for how to make a simple gift and card. Maybe this will be the perfect gift for a close friend or partner? So, whether you make this craft for yourself, for someone else or just read to see how they turn out, I hope you enjoy today’s post.
