Blogmas Day 25 – MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

Blogmas has finally come to an end – Merry Christmas everyone and thank you so much for following my Blogmas this year and for the constant support! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

Blogmas Day Twenty Four – The Christmas Tag

Merry Christmas Eve, everyone!! Can you believe that in less than 24 hours, Christmas day will be here?? This year has been above and beyond crazy, and it’s even scarier to think that it will all soon be over. Since it is Christmas eve, I wasn’t sure what kind of post to do, but then I remembered this really fun tag I saw on my friend Olivia’s blog. I’d never heard of this tag before and thought it would make a fantastic addition to my blogmas posts, and perfect for Christmas eve because it’s all about Christmas!! This tag works like any other blogging tag – I answer pre-set questions and then share the answers with you. Once you’ve read the responses, if you want to, please feel free to do this tag too! I’m not tagging anyone because it’s Christmas eve, and I don’t think people will have enough time, but if you want to do it, then please do! Just don’t forget to tag the original creator, Laurenyloves.

Blogmas Day Twenty Three – What your favourite Christmas beverage says about you

Christmas-themed drinks are all the rage. No matter where you go, you can see people sipping festive drinks from coffee shops, stacked in all the stores, for sale in your favourite cafes, restaurants and cute little Christmas stalls. With that in mind, I couldn’t do a post without acknowledging all these glorious beverages. I had such fun with the post I wrote last year about What your favourite Christmas cookie says about you that I thought it would be really cool to try one with Christmas drinks. Sooooo without further ado, here is a fun little post about what your favourite Christmas beverage says about you!

Blogmas Day Twenty Two – Guest post by Olivia Lucie Blake

Christmas is soooooo close now it’s quite terrifying, but I’ve loved the build-up to Christmas this year and all the fun of doing Blogmas this year. And… in a few more days I wont be popping up in your inboxes everyday with another post so you’ll get a nice long break from me too to enjoy the rest of December. Anywho, today I’m bringing you the last guest post for Blogmas from a really great friend of mine and a true blogging inspiration. Today’s post is from Olivia and she has a phenomenal lifestyle blog, and my favourite topics are specifically around self-care and mental health so I approached her about doing a post for blogmas on one of those topics. So, without getting too off topic, here is Olivia’s post!

Blogmas Day Twenty-One – Funky Friendsmas Ideas

mance book a few weeks ago and completely fell in love with the idea because the idea of having a fun Christmas tradition/celebration with your friends is fantastic!! It’s especially hitting home for me this year because I’m actually having more of a Friendsmas this year. So, with that in mind, I thought it would be really fun to share some funky Friendsmas ideas that you can pull together fairly quickly if you and your besties are planning to celebrate Christmas together this year but are looking for ideas. I hope you enjoy this post!

Blogmas Day 20 – Christmas in Durham

Part of what has been helping me dive into the festivities is that I am on a break from university, so I actually have some time to slow down and do some of my favourite Christmassy activities. For instance, the other day, I spent most of my day in my festive pyjamas, drinking hot chocolate and watching Christmas movies while I baked cinnamon rolls. The other part is I’m getting to see and experience the different parts of Christmas here in England. Considering I’m spending Christmas away from home this year, I thought I should really take notice of all the Christmas over here. So today, it is in exactly that spirit that I was inspired with today’s post – to share what it feels like to spend the holiday season here in Durham. I hope you enjoy it!

Blogmas Day Nineteen – Christmas Collab with Aditi

Today I’ve got a really fun Blogmas post, that’s actually been a few months in the making. Aditi from What Are You Up To During The Lockdown? is one of my closest and oldest blogging friends and we’ve worked together quite a bit but over the summer we were planning to do an interview-style collabb where we ask each other some fun questions and then share each other’s answers. Because we were struggling to think of a theme for our questions, Blogmas was a huge savior for us because we both love Christmas, and decided some Christmas themed questions would be perfect. So, what we did is share a few questions with each other and answer all the questions (both our own and the ones sent by the other – 8 in total) and now we are going to share each other’s answers here in our blogs.

Blogmas Day 17 – Surviving Christmas alone

Today I thought I’d take off the bauble-tinted glasses around Christmas and talk about something a little more … whatever the opposite of merry is? Christmas can truly be a magical time of year, filled with so many sparkly, joyous things and activities, but what I think we often tend to forget is part of what makes these moments so special is that we spend them with our loved ones. However, what are you meant to do during a festive period that is all about doing things with your close friends and family when you’re alone for Christmas? That’s what we’re going to chat about in this blog post!

Blogmas Day 16 – Hosting your own Christmas Cosyfest

I suddenly realised that I haven’t talked about any sort of Christmas party/celebration ideas or tips. While I could always talk about Christmas organisation, I think that kind of takes the jingle out of a Christmas carol when you’re talking about lists and planning… sooo a fun way to get around that I thought would be to talk about how you could host your own fun Christmas event. So I can chat about something organisational, and you readers can also get some inspiration if you’re still at a loss for a fun way to host people for Christmas this year. One of the events my Disney society hosted was Christmas cosyfest, and it was such a fun event that I thought it would be fun to share the details in case you decide to host one yourself. Not only is it really easy to do, but it’s also a super relaxed and fun Christmas event, so for those looking for event inspiration … here is How to Host a Christmas Cosyfest.
