Because Christmas is so close, I wanted to do a short post today about my usual Christmas celebrations and traditions. I haven’t done as many personal Christmas posts as I would have liked (I may have gotten carried away with all the other Christmas post inspirations I found) so before it’s too late, I wanted to at least fit in this one. I hope you enjoy it!!
Today, it being only two days left until Christmas, I’m bringing you the last guest post of Blogmas and a very special one at that. Today, I’m going to share with you a creative piece written by my best friend Keeanne. It’s truly a beautiful story but I won’t give too much away about it except for one last thing … The piece is called ‘Winter’.
One of my favourite parts about this time of year is all of the absolutely amazing food and drink that you can only truly appreciate during this time of year. Whether it’s a hot drink to warm you up on a cold winter’s night, something with a bit of caffeine to get you through your morning, or even something cold and fresh to stop you from melting in the summer heat, I absolutely love the fact that Christmas comes with its own range of beverages. So, I thought it might be fun to go through some of the best holiday beverages (be it hot, cold or whatever). Let’s see how many of them you enjoy drinking during the holiday season 🙂
I haven’t written a letter to Santa in years, and I thought it would be a great way to get into the Christmas spirit. I’ve always been a big believer in the magic of Christmas, and I don’t think anything quite captures that joy and sense of belief like writing a letter to the big man in red himself. Plus, just because I’m twenty now doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy some of these child-like traditions, so why not?
One thing that I think is always important to remember amid all the joy and celebrations is that it is always important to show our gratitude by giving something back. After all, this has been a more challenging year than most so even if it’s in the smallest way possible, like donating £5 to a Hedgehog conservation society, giving back in whatever way you can make such a big difference and can make someone’s festive season. So that’s why today, I’m going to be sharing a few ways to give back this Christmas, that also happen to be covid friendly!
Hello everyone!! Today I have another fantastic guest post for you all from The One who Always Talks and it is such a fun post that I’m not going to reveal anything else about it. You’ll just have to click and keep reading to check it out!
I’ve always thought that DIY gifts are always just a little more special than store-bought gifts because they require a little extra thought and energy to put them together, plus they are inadvertently more personal. However, the only problem with some DIY gifts is you sometimes need a degree in engineering, carpentry or chemistry to make them and with Christmas day looming, not a huge budget to work with and neither the time nor skills for something like a hand-crafted dollhouse, so easy, budget-friendly DIY gift ideas are key. So, if you’re stuck for ideas for some people this year and are trying to think of something fun and personal that you can make/assemble for a friend without breaking the bank or risking cutting a finger off, here are some fun ideas for last-minute DIY Christmas gifts!
I was originally going to post about some skincare tips for winter, but then I realised … that wouldn’t be such a great idea because I’m not having Christmas in Winter, and many people spend the holiday season in shorts and shirts battling the heat instead of bundled up in blankets, snuggled up inside. Thus, I have changed gear a little with the direction for my skincare tip post. Instead of linking it to one specific climate or season, my skincare tips today are going to be all about Christmas!! Here are 5 tips from me for how you can look after your skin and have healthy skin this Christmas – I hope you enjoy!!
Today I have a special post for you all. When I put out the announcement for guest posts to all of you in the Blogosphere, I also put it out to my close friends both at home and university and so today I am sharing one of those posts. This post is written by one of my friends Elena – we’re both doing the same degree and are both passionate about the environment so today I am sharing with you Elena’s post on having a more green Christmas this year. I hope you all enjoy it!
