Dealing with Disappointment

A recent experience got me thinking about the different ways that we can deal with disappointment. Sometimes it is an earth-shattering disappointment that makes you want to crawl up into a ball and disappear from the world for a few weeks. Other times it’s just enough disappointment to make you miserable and want to eat lots of sugar. Or it can be somewhere in the middle. No matter what sort of disappointment we may be feeling, the key thing is learning how to deal with it because as appealing as it sounds to transfigure into a blanket burrito, the world keeps turning, so we have to be able to pick ourselves up and keep going. So today, that’s what I’m going to be chatting about!

World Wildlife Wednesday – Eco-friendly March is marching for wildlife

I was doing some research to help me decide which eco-friendly goal I wanted to pursue next when I realised that the 3rd of March is World Wildlife Day, so what better topic for me to blog about today than to choose something wildlife-related as my goal for the month? Today I’m going through my wildlife goals for this month – I hope you’ll join me in the challenge

February Reflection and Favourites

This might be just me, but how crazy is it that February is already practically over?? Honestly, I don’t know how the time has gone by so fast… but with that being said, I thought it might be fun to do a little reflection post. I’ve always loved reading other blogger’s posts about their monthly reflections or favourites, plus I said I would do an update at the end of the month about my monthly eco-friendly/sustainability challenge soooo here it goes!

Tips for dealing with boredom

I have spent many hours suffering from boredom so am not really in any position to chastise any of you for the same thing. This little article is rather my way of saying that there is so much to do – so why sit vegetating in front of a wall? Whether you are bored at home, bored during your holiday or bored while driving in the car, this is a friendly guide to aiding you on your way to curing boredom so that you don’t feel ready to strangle yourself if you spend one more minute counting the dust particles. So next time you feel like you may be slipping into the lapse of this disease, remember my words and you may soon find that you are cured of boredom forever (or at least for now).

February Eco-Friendly Challenge – Pitching Plastic!!

s I said, I’m making it a mission to become more environmentally friendly. The way I’m going to do this is by setting myself a challenge each month. Every month I’m going to try and tackle a different part of my life where I can live more sustainably or be more eco-friendly, and this month I’m pitching plastic! Now I know that in society’s current climate it can be challenging to make significant changes like this (it’s not like the rest of the world is necessarily helping out like all the plastic packaging in supermarkets, straws etc.). The big thing I really want to do with these challenges is to make them sustainable and practical to slot into daily life.
