Hellooooo all my lovely readers!!

I hope you’re all doing well! Surprise, I’ve got another summer competition showcase piece to share with you all and today’s piece is for the creative writing category – a short poem submitted by Georgina! I hope you enjoy it.

“ like the pith on the sweet clementine
holding together the sum of the parts –
a web of illusion ,these ties that bind us
pealed away with grubby fingers –
urgently seeking sweet relief –
gradually then suddenly we come undone….”
