The Potter Craze Tag!!

Heyyyy everybody!! So I’m back trying to catch up with tags … I honestly don’t know how I’m going to keep up with all of this. Those bloggers who manage full time university degrees or jobs and still maintain your blogs – TELL ME YOUR SECRETS!! Okay to be fair this is only my second week of university life, and with everything being online and all of us trying to figure out our schedules I know I need to give myself a few weeks to settle into my new routine and get the hang of things. But right now, this is pretty overwhelming! University lectures, seminars, reading (so much freaking reading!!), society and club meetings, squeezing in time for those healthy things like exercise and showering, and important things like cooking, calling people back home and watering my houseplant plus blogging and all of its trimmings? I thought I was organised before but damn this is going to take some next level organisation … Maybe I’ll develop these magical skills in the next few weeks? 

Anywho, onto the blog post! So today I’m doing the Potter Craze Tag, because I absolutely love Harry Potter and couldn’t not participate in this tag. I was originally planning on doing the Ultimate Disney Tag first but sadly it’s quite a long post and given my chaotic schedule right now and limited laptop time, I figured I’d do this one first and I’ll do the Disney tag next.

Questions

Talk about your fav book/movie in the series and why? 

Okay so my favourite movie is the Philosopher’s Stone and my favourite book is the Prisoner of Azkaban. The Philosopher’s stone is my favourite film because it was the first movie in this magical series, the first time the books were brought to life in a place other than our imaginations and I honestly think Chris Columbus did such a phenomenal job translating the book into film. I feel it really captured the magic and curiosity of the first book, plus I just loved seeing the wizarding world on screen for the first time just like Harry. 

Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite book because it’s just after Harry’s introduction to the wizarding world, so he isn’t completely ignorant anymore but it is before the intensity that stays from the 4th book onwards. It’s also the first time we get introduced to Lupin, Sirius, Buckbeak, the Marauder’s Map, Hogsmeade and it’s such a turning point in the series. Plus Hagrid teaches Care of Magical Creatures and who doesn’t love Hagrid? 

If you could bring 3 characters back to life from the series, who would it be and why? 

OH EM GEEE!! Can I not choose all of them??? Should it be James and Lily and Lupin? Or Snape or Sirius?? What about Fred and Dumbledore?? Oh my word this is just too hard!! 

Okay final answer … Sirius, Hedwig and Dobby!! (and Fred … actually can I just bring everyone back to life except for Voldemort and the death eaters??) 

What’s your Hogwarts house and who’s your fav character from your house? 

I’m a proud Hufflepuff!! I think Professor Sprout and Newt Schemander are my favourite characters because Professor Sprout is just such a delightful character and Newt is amazing!! He is sweet, loyal, gentle, an animal lover and the fact that he’s the protagonist in the Fantastic Beasts movies just makes it even better – Hufflepuff’s are representing!

  1. Thanks for doing this tag- I loved your answers!! Yesss I know- I’d always choose Hogwarts but I wanted to know if there’s someone who would choose Illvermony!
    (Like my cousin- she says she’d like to see the “American version” of Hogwarts 😆)
    And that goblet of fire meme: I love that the movie is the complete opposite of that😂😂😂

  2. I could totally feel you! My online classes have started last Monday and I don’t know how to keep up with blogging. Still working on my scheduling! Although I’m not really a Potterhead anymore, I loved reading your answers!

  4. I manage three blogs hahaha
    I usually work with people who collaborate back, who are looking to build their sites with views.
    Some posts I copy and use over and over because it’s a really good post.

    The important thing is to keep blogging. And to follow and like people’s blogs who like yours.

  6. Again thanks Blondey, even though I did not understand one word of this blog, I am just an “old” lady, will stick with my David Baldaci books. You will get organised, be kind to yourself and give yourself time, take a deep breath and also count to 10. xxx

  9. Love this tag and your answers! The one about who to bring back…that is SO hard – I’d probably say Sirius, Lupin and Snape. Also, I’m a hufflepuff xx
