I know that it can be a bit more of a challenge to get into the holiday spirit for some people. Not everyone is like me, and as soon as it even gets close to December, I’m already jingly and ready to cover everything in tinsel and chuck merriness around like confetti. But, sometimes it’s not just like slipping on a pair of comfy shoes, you need to mentally prepare, gear up and get things rolling before you can throw yourself into the festivities, so if any of you are still hovering on the border between Christmas and the rest of the boring year, I hope that this blog post helps!

I always think that it’s important to take a minute, reflect and be grateful for what you have. It’s also important to show our gratitude and give something back to the world/community amid all the joy, celebrations and over indulgence. We’ve all gone through some really challenging times and I think this year we all need that Christmas magic more than ever, so even if it’s just a teeny tiny thing, giving back in whatever way we can can make such a big difference to someone and truly make their festive season magical. So today, in the same spirit as my ultimate Christmas bucket list (which you can read here by the way), here are 25 small things you can do to show a little Christmas kindness! I present to you my Christmas Kindness Bingo!!
It’s blogmas day 3 everyone! Now I’m not saying I haven’t planned out everything for Blogmas (I totally have – I even made a cute little post schedule/calendar for my pin board), but I am still at university and have two assessments that I still need to get submitted so that’s why I am uber thankful for all those who submitted guest posts for my Blogmas! Today I’d like to share a super cool guest post from the lovely Heidi so I hope you enjoy it!
So yesterday I started Blogmas on quite a gentle note, just dipping one little toe into the festivities to get you ready, but now I think it’s time we dive headfirst into all things Christmas. I’m talking Christmas music playing way too loudly, playing in the Snow, the smell of cinnamon, ginger, chocolate and pine needles, drinking enough hot chocolate to drown in and eating enough food to create a food baby you’ll be nursing until Valentine’s Day. And… what better way is there to dive headfirst, without a second of hesitation, into as much Christmassyness (is that even a word?? If not it should be), than by kicking off Blogmas with an updated ultimate Christmas-time bucket list. This one is even more special than last year because it’s 25 tasks for 25 days – so let’s see how many you’ve already done, how many you plan to do and how many you tick off by Christmas.
Welcome to Blogmas 2021 everyone! To kick things off (just dipping our toe in the festivities and not plunging right in), I thought I’d start it off with a little welcome post, and some info about how Blogmas is going to work. Looking forward to seeing you all every day throughout the holiday season!
Today is just going to be a short post, more of an announcement really, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less important. Oh no, in fact I think this little announcement is one of the most crucial blog posts I’ve done for a while. Blogmas is just a month away so here are all the details if you want to send in submissions for Blogmas 2021 on Tall Blonde Tales!! Keep reading to find out more
Today is the very last day of Blogmas … Merry Christmas everyone!! I hope you have a truly magical day!
Because Christmas is so close, I wanted to do a short post today about my usual Christmas celebrations and traditions. I haven’t done as many personal Christmas posts as I would have liked (I may have gotten carried away with all the other Christmas post inspirations I found) so before it’s too late, I wanted to at least fit in this one. I hope you enjoy it!!
Today, it being only two days left until Christmas, I’m bringing you the last guest post of Blogmas and a very special one at that. Today, I’m going to share with you a creative piece written by my best friend Keeanne. It’s truly a beautiful story but I won’t give too much away about it except for one last thing … The piece is called ‘Winter’.
One of my favourite parts about this time of year is all of the absolutely amazing food and drink that you can only truly appreciate during this time of year. Whether it’s a hot drink to warm you up on a cold winter’s night, something with a bit of caffeine to get you through your morning, or even something cold and fresh to stop you from melting in the summer heat, I absolutely love the fact that Christmas comes with its own range of beverages. So, I thought it might be fun to go through some of the best holiday beverages (be it hot, cold or whatever). Let’s see how many of them you enjoy drinking during the holiday season 🙂
