Oh for the love of stationery! Stationery must-haves and fun options for stationery addicts!!

Hey everyone!! Today I thought, because there are so many wonderful stationery items available in the world, I’d go through my list of stationery must-haves and also some fun ones that are not essential but I just couldn’t live without (does that make it an essential?). Hopefully, you find some useful information from this or even just an idea on what you might need to add to your desk.

Not every post will be a hit

Anyway … I was really unsure what to write about today. I’ve been having some difficulty coming up with topics that I want to write about this year (I don’t think the university workload is helping), so I decided to look back through all my old posts. I got to see the ones that did well and the ones that didn’t, and that got me thinking about the post I did last weekend, which didn’t get many views or likes. Sadly not every post will be a hit, and that can really hurt. But despite that, you can’t let that stop you from enjoying blogging!

There aren’t enough hours in the day – a few tips to get a little more time

Well, as much as I have pondered and hoped, I don’t think there’s going to be away any time soon for us to magically increase the numbers of hours in the day. You may suggest giving up a few hours of sleep, but I’ve tried that … and let’s just say that the monster I become isn’t worth those extra hours of productivity because I need at least a day or two to recover, so the whole thing is essentially an exercise in futility. So how on earth can we get just a little extra time in our day? Is it too much to ask? Well, it can be difficult, but there are a few ways to get a little extra time in your day, and the answer is not magic. So … here we go!

Blogging Advice #4 … Finding inspiration when you have absolutely no clue what to post about

Sometimes we have to work a little harder to think up ideas for our posts, especially if we’re suffering from writer’s block. So, today I thought I’d continue with the blogging advice series I started at the end of last year with tips for finding blog post inspiration even when you have absolutely no clue what to post about. I hope you enjoy it!

I am enough!

I know there are many things that can make us feel like we’re not enough. When you go through a bad breakup, when something really negative happens in your life, when people are mean or don’t understand you, or simply when it feels like you are always drawing the short end of the stick. I’ve been there. I’ve had those thoughts, and I’m going to be honest … they suck. They make everything dull and miserable, and it makes you constantly question yourself and your self-worth, and it often takes something pretty significant to realise that you are enough. But that evil thought is persistent, and I believe that we all sometimes need a little support to honestly believe that, so today I’m going through a few ways that you can practice positive thinking and make sure that evil thought stays as far away from you as possible.

Tips for staying organised even when your life feels super chaotic

it feels like there are already a million things to get done and staying organised has never been more critical, especially since the next wave of covid has sent so many countries into much stricter restrictions. I think the last thing we all need is the stress that comes from disorganised chaos and not feeling on top of things. So today, I’m going to be sharing a few tips for staying organised and keeping things vaguely together even when it feels like your life has descended into chaos.

October and November Favourites

These last two months have been a complete whirlwind, but it could not have been more fun and exciting. And scary. There were definitely lots of nerves and astronomical spikes in stress. But hey I’m still alive and very much coping – my first term of uni is drawing to a close, and that made me think of doing a reflection post, going back over my favourite moments, and a few of the exciting things that have happened. I’ve always loved the idea of doing a post reflecting back on the previous month because you get to look back at everything you’ve learnt, all you’ve achieved and remember some really special memories. So today I’m going to be sharing some of my favourites of the last two months with this big, beautiful blogging community – YOU!!
