Helloooo all my lovely readers!
I hope you’re all enjoying this last week or two of October and wherever you are in the world you’re keeping safe, healthy and happy.
Things have been quite stressful at university these last few days between work, society admin and general life just getting quite busy. Since you seemed to like the Therabox unboxing I did a short while ago, and one of the best ways to deal with stress is to try take a beat and focus on self-care, I thought I’d combine the two and do another unboxing!
So, without further ado, here is my second unboxing – let’s see what we got, and what self-care I can get up to this weekend!

This box was a ‘Hello Sunshine’ box, a bit ironic considering we don’t see much sun up here in the North East.

First thing in this box is a seaweed and jasmine hair revive elixir. I’ve never really used products like this before, especially because my hair is quite thin and sensitive to product, but it smells amazing so I might have to give it a try. There’s also a glow nectar bronzing oil, which I will definitely break out soon – there’s not enough sun to tan here and while I am generally on the paler side, I do miss my light tan that I had when living in South Africa. The little bottle on the side is a 100% roll-on which also smells incredible! These boxes really make sure that their products smell as amazing as they look!

Next, we got an Electrolyte Hydration Mix packet. Not exactly something I was expecting in a self-care box but fair enough – it’s really important to stay hydrated and ensure you’re getting enough vitamins, and with fresher’s flu doing its best to take down every student in the city it will probably come in very handy! There’s also a really lovely cream, that also doubles as a pollution shield. Now I’ve put some on for my busy day today (I’ve got a volunteering shift this morning, errands to run, a creative writing meeting and general work to do) so let’s see how anti-pollution it is …

Oh my word I could smell this was going to be a great product before I even knew what it was (again with the smells). This hand soap is absolutely fantastic! I tried it out when I opened the box and not only do my hands feel nice and soft (and clean), I have also always loved the smell of lemongrass and this soap has such a soothing scent to it. Is it weird if I’m considering just sniffing the soap to get that soothing smell ?

The Happiness activity, which I didn’t photograph well at all, is actually quite fitting for these next few weeks. It’s all about helping you through change, with the activity containing 5 practices to help you strategize and support yourself through the change. Now I’m not going through any major changes at the moment, but I am considering a lot of different things and will need to make some changes so I can stop feeling like I’m running around like a headless chicken, so this activity might be just what I need!

What did you all think of this Therabox? Any products that you’re particularly in love with? I really love the concepts of these boxes, and they do in a way force you to at least try and focus on self-care. You have such amazing stuff it would be heartbreaking not to use it. They also make really great gifts because you could just do a one-month subscription and then that box is an amazing, loving present. Let’s chat in the comments section about your self-care practices too!
Lots of love

That soap bar got me missing the bar I got from Lush many years ago. After it ran out, I started using liquid soap in the shower again, but it’s not the same. I find bar soap lasts a lot longer too, it gets more sudsy.

Oooh I love Lush products!! Yeah that’s true bar soap does seem to be more soapsy – hopefully you can find another bar similar to the one that ran out??

What a wonderful concept this is! I like how this one is COMPLETELY different from the previous month’s.
Also, is the Therabox shifted outside your country? How cheap/expensive is it?
I loved the hair elixir. I love how it smells! (I imagined the smell based on your description and it’s GORGEOUS!)
The activity seems like such fun!

I know it’s amazing!! Exactly it makes it very fun and exciting!! So I think it’s an American thing and it was shipped to England but I’m not sure about all countries they ship to, and I got all of mine on a discount but I think if you google Therabox you can see the prices?
Haha thanks it is amazing!! Although I haven’t used it yet! I started the activity though and it is actually really fun and interesting xx

I wish Canada had something like this. I would totally get it because of a lot going on in my life right now!
