Hi there everyone!! Welcome back to Tall Blonde Tales, I hope you’re all keeping well. A minor update on my work/life/organisational mission, I haven’t collapsed yet and things seem to be smoothing out so I think I’m getting the hang of it but let me not make that statement official for at least another week or two, just in case this week is a fluke.
First things first, I just wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who wished me Happy Birthday on Wednesday – you are all so amazing and your kind words truly made my day! And another thank you for everyone who filled in my little blog survey! I really appreciate the feedback (for anyone who didn’t fill out the survey and still wants to you, you can still do it by clicking here!)
Today I am doing what has to be one of the coolest tags I have ever come across … THE ULTIMATE DISNEY TAG!!! I have always been a massive Disney lover, so as soon as I came across this tag and got nominated by Chickadee Lover Maggie I knew that I just had to do it. It has taken me quite some time to get to it (so sorry about that), but the wait is over and now I’m here with the 50 questions for the Ultimate Disney Tag. Before I start, a huge thank you to Chickadee Lover Maggie for including me in this – she is an absolute delight and is always so sweet and wonderful to chat to with an amazing blog so be sure to check out her blog here!

Now, let’s talk Disney shall we?
*Fair warning, with there being 50 questions, this is quite a long post so please get comfortable and grab a beverage or a snack. We may be here a while.
Rules:
- Mention whose blog you found out about this tag through and share their link
- Include the rules and badge in your post
- Answer all 50 questions
- Tag the post under “theultimatedisneytag” in the Reader
- Leave an open invitation for all Disney lovers to participate!
The 50 questions!
What is the first Disney movie you remember watching?
Finding Nemo with my dad (I know this isn’t technically a Disney classic but Disney does own Pixar so I’m counting it).
Three characters you relate the most to?
Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Anna from Frozen and Lilo from Lilo and Stitch.
If you could trade places with one character for a day, who would you choose and what would you do?
Oh em gee this is such a tough one … Probably Elsa from Frozen and then I would go ice skating with Olaf because anyone who knows me knows that I’m like Bambi on Ice so if I traded places with Else I’d finally be able to ice skate, could spend my day with Olaf (who is incredible!) and test out those magical icy powers.
Which princess do you relate to the most?
Belle. Absolutely no doubt about that. She loves books, is family-orientated, is a little unusual but doesn’t let it bother her, and doesn’t judge a book by its cover.
Are you jealous of any character’s fashion sense/wardrobe?
Not really actually … but I am jealous of all the dresses the princesses get to wear because they all look gorgeous.
Which song/s get stuck in your head the most often?
Every single song? I’d have to say the lion king songs or let it go, and a few others from the Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Brother Bear and Beauty and the Beast (can you tell I’m a sucker for the classics?)
If you could change one thing about any Disney movie, what would you change and why?
I don’t know if I would change one specific thing but why do Disney parents always have to be so dead?? I know that they are all crucial parts of the stories but wow … Do the plot points have to be based off such somber events?
Which sidekick would you love to have?
Pascal from Tangled. He is so adorable, always there for Rapunzel, gets involved with everything she does, helps her through things and is just an amazing little friend. Plus I love when he sticks his tongue in Flynn’s ear. Easily my favourite scene in the whole movie.
If you could spend the day with three characters, who would you choose and what would the four of you do together?
Olaf, Stitch and Belle. We’d have a picnic and just go on a fun-filled day of activities and adventures (and hopefully Olaf can teach me how to ice skate).
Is there a crossover relationship you think would totally work? (For example, Tiana and Prince Charming)
Hmmm good question … I’m not really sure but I think Anna and Flynn Rider could work?
Are there any minor characters you think should have been included more in their movies’ plots? If so, which ones?
Pua, the adorable little pig from Moana. Was it just me who expected him to go on the voyage instead of the clueless Hayhay? Sure the idiot rooster was great comic relief and an interesting member of the adventure team but why couldn’t Pua have come too?? I think that was definitely a missed opportunity.
Which movie has your favourite animation?
Finding Dory – the way Hank moves so realistically as a slimy octopus is just unbelievable.
If you could request to have a sequel made for any one movie, what sequel would it be and what would you love to see happen in it?
I’m not sure honestly because I think Disney doesn’t always do great with sequels … but I suppose a Moana two would be really cool and perhaps we could see Pua in a more prominent role (*cough cough*) and an all new adventure for Moana and the Rock (complete with songs of course and a bad guy with an even catchier song than Tamatoa) such as fighting a legendary monster that has somehow resurfaced/no longer a myth?
Are there any movies you think shouldn’t have had a sequel? Why or why not?
Pocahontas. The first movie ended just fine and I really was just not a fan of the sequel.
Do you use any Disney quotes in your every day life? If so, what are they?

Have you noticed any plot holes or funny errors in any movie?
Not that I can think of right now but give me a while … maybe one will spring to mind.
Which quote/s inspire you the most?

Who were your favourite characters as a kid?
Too many to count.
Who are your favourite characters now?
Still too many to count. But I adore Stitch, Olaf, Belle, Rapunzel, Mushu, Moana and Maui and Rafiki just to name a few.
What’s the last movie you watched?
Mulan (the animated original!!)
Which movie do you want to watch next?
Frozen 2 – I definitely haven’t seen it enough times yet.
Which character would you go to for advice?
Winnie the Pooh – I genuinely love his philosophy on life and he just seems like he’d always have the most optimistically practical advice. And if he can’t offer you advice, he would definitely try to make you feel better.
Were there any movies that scared you growing up? Are you okay watching them now?
Sleeping Beauty. I watched it late at night with my older brother and then when I went to sleep there was a green glow stick in one of my cupboards … safe to say that suitably freaked me out for a long time but I am definitely okay with watching it now.
What’s your favourite Disney short?
Is that even a question? Lava, without a doubt. If you thought Disney love stories couldn’t get more adorable, how about a love song about two volcanoes??? AHHHH I think I’m going to go and watch it now!
Which movie has your favourite soundtrack?
This isn’t a fair question because I love so many … The original Lion King or Beauty and the Beast. They are just classics and both have some of my all-time favourite disney songs in them.
Who is your favourite classic character? (i.e. Mickey, Goofy, Donald, etc.)
Goofy. (If my older brother is reading this, no I am not copying you!) but he’s just such a sweet character. Meeting him in his Santa hat two years ago was probably my favourite character meet up (he may have kissed my hand. See? What a gentleman!)

Which destination/town/world would you love to visit the most? What would you do there?
Pixie hollow! Okay I know that sounds weird but it always seemed like the most magical place in the entire world when I was growing up (apart from Disney World itself) and if I could go there as a fairy and do magic, fly through the seasons and take part in all those fun fairy activities that would be my childhood dream come true.
Do you prefer watching live action or animated?
Animated. It’s not even a debate.
What are your top three most-watched movies?
Lilo and Stitch, Beauty and and the Beast, The Lion King and Monsters Inc/Monsters U (I can’t just pick three I’m sorry).
Which scene made you the saddest?
When Mufasa died … I’ve easily watched that movie over a 100 times and I cry EVERY SINGLE TIME I watch that scene.
Which scene was the most heartwarming?
When Koda sees his mom and the three brothers get to hug each other one last time in the Brother Bear movie. Sure it was sad but also so beautiful that they actually all got a chance to see each other one last time and say goodbye.
Which scene completely shocked you?
The opening 8-minute scene in Up. I’m sorry but that movie started out on such a positive note and I thought it was going to go in a completely different direction and then all of a sudden, Ellie just died. Wow.
What are your favourite best friend relationships?
Timon and Pumba – those two are a celebrity duo. Also Sven and Kristoff and Winnie the Pooh and Piglet. We could learn a thing or two from all of them about best friendship.
Which couple is your favourite?
So so hard … In all honesty I love most of the Disney couples but Rapunzel and Flynn Rider are good contenders for the top spot because they don’t just fall in love, they teach each other and help each other grow and as such their personalities complement each other.
Movie with the happiest ending?
At the moment my vote goes to Coco because everything ended up more than happily ever after at the end.
Movie with the saddest ending?
Toy Story three. Granted, it was a powerful ending and a good film but man is that ending scene heart-breaking. Jeez I’m tearing up at my laptop just thinking about it.
Is there a type of food/treat a character eats/bakes that you’d love to try?
I must say Tiana’s beignets and Rapunzel’s chocolate chip cookies look pretty mouth-watering from my side of the screen.
Have you been to any of the Disney parks?
Yes I have! I’ve been to all of the Disney parks in Florida (out-of-this-world experience and I cannot wait to save up and go again!) and Disneyland Paris. One day I hope to go to all the Disney parks around the world.
What are your favourite Disney channel shows/movies?
I really enjoyed the High School Musicals growing up and I think my favourite disney channel show was the Lilo and Stitch series.
If you could visit the set of any show or live action movie, which one would you want to see?
I’d want to be on the Beauty and the Beast live-action set so that I can actually walk around in that ginormous library. That would be a dream come true.
Which movie makes you laugh the most?
Lion King 1 ½ is hilarious and so is the Emperor’s new groove and Hercules. They are all laugh-out-loud sort of movies.
Was there a movie you thought you wouldn’t like, but ended up loving it?
I wasn’t expecting to like Monsters University (because disney sequels … eish) but boy was I wrong I absolutely loved it and now it’s probably in my top 20 animated movies list.
Which villains are you scared of?
I don’t know if I’d say I’m scared of any villains at this point in my life but villains that really intimidated me as a kid were Maleficent, Scar, Ursula and Cruella De Ville (those classic villains really did have a way of striking fear into your heart).
Which villain/s don’t scare you?
Hades from Hercules – surprisingly I never found him scary. I actually found him more funny than villainous.
Do you like any Disney memes? (feel free to share them!)
Okay so I’m awful when it comes to memes and I don’t have any favourites that come to mind so what are some of your favourite Disney memes?
Do you/have you had any Disney-themed clothes?
Of course!! I have Disney pajamas (loads), I have disney hoodies because hoodies are my favourite item of clothing and I have a Minnie-mouse style dress.
Do you have any stuffed animals/toys? If so, which ones?
I have loads but surprisingly not so many in the Disney department. I used to collect the Disney action figures growing up, but the only stuffed toys I have are Jiminy Cricket, and hopefully Stitch as a birthday present.
If you could only recommend one Disney movie for others to watch, which one would you choose and why?
Lilo and Stitch – it is such a cute, fun story that manages to talk about so many important issues. It deals with alienation and what it’s like for Lilo being excluded from things because she’s a little weird, complicated family dynamics, loss, friendship, not judging a book by its cover as Lilo does with Stitch and that oh so important message of Ohana. Say it with me folks!
Which characters always make you smile?
Timone and Pumba never hesitate to make me smile, so does Olaf, Goofy, Pascal, Tinkerbell, Rapunzel, the Genie, Mushu and the Mad Hatter.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you love Disney?
1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
I think you get the idea! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE DISNEY!!!
I TAG EVERY DISNEY FAN!!
Phewwww we have made it to the end. That was an intense, very long tag but you know what, I loved absolutely every single second of it! It was so much fun thinking about my favourite disney moments, or movies that I really connected with, and for that, I have to say a huge thank you to Maggie from Chickadee Lover Maggie for this tag and for letting me participate! For all those who choose to participate in this tag, please let me know so that I can keep an eye out for your post – I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone’s answers.

I love this!! I’m totally doing it!!! I totally agreed with so many of your answers! When you said that Toy Story 3 has the saddest ending, I totally agreed! But that movie just broke my heart! Especially Baby Boo-Boo (was that his name?)!! I (still have actually, don’t judge me. ;)) a Bitty Baby doll that looks SCARILY like Baby Boo-Boo so when he was cast to the curb by both his owner and Lotso, I lost it! Goodness, it still breaks my heart thinking about it. Now I vow to never get rid of that boby doll. I don’t plan on getting rid of any of my dolls after watching that movie!
Again, I loved this! Hope your “getting into the flow of things” isn’t a fluke, too! xoxo

What a fun tag! Really enjoyed reading your answers. Belle is a great choice, she is so empowered and sure of who she is. That Alice in Wonderland quote you shared is also lovely. Do you also embrace your quirks and choose to walk your own path regardless of what others say? Lovely post in all, well done.
