Time is always such a funny thing – it can sometimes feel like it’s going so slowly, and then suddenly you look up and it’s as if it’s raced past. That’s why I’m really glad that I’ve stuck to doing these monthly reflections. Even though it doesn’t help that feeling that time is shooting by way too fast, it does help me slow things down and remember the individual moments. So on that profound note, let’s get right into this month’s favourites shall we??

Can you believe October is already over? This month had so many fun events and activities, but also some great favourites so this blog post is my monthly reflection. What were your highlights this month?
Now because it’s the end of the month, you all know what that means?! It’s time for another reflection post on how the last month has been, although it really feels like I just wrote one of these the other day! I hope you enjoy it
August has been a pretty crazy month in general. It was finally safe for me to come back to the UK, which meant saying goodbye and packing things up in South Africa. I had to go through 11 days of hotel quarantine which was not ideal but not too stressful thankfully (you can read about my quarantine experience here), and I did a holiday with my best friend from uni around some places in the UK. Would anyone be keen to read about our adventures? Hint… there was a Harry Potter theme!! So, with an eventful month just past, and what I think will be an eventful month going forward, here are my august reflections, highlights and favourites!
I know I say this every month, but it always feels so crazy to look back and see how much of the year has gone by. I think spending most of the time stuck in my room and doing everything online might be adding to that just a little bit. Anywhoooo, July has been a very eventful month, even though nothing has happened. But enough of my chatting let me get into this post!
about all the things that have happened and relive some really great memories. Plus, this acts as a bit of a diary so at the end of the year I can see all the fun things that have happened. Right now enough of my waffling; here are my favourites of the month. Please feel free to share your monthly favourites too!
May has probably been the greatest mix of stress and relaxation I’ve had in a while, as I had my first set of uni exams/final exams for first-year to do online. Which is absolutely terrifying, by the way – am I the only one who feels that way? But, having all my exams and summative assignments out the way also means that I am free to do fun things and relax a little after a rather hectic, if not somewhat inactive and digital, first year of university. Today I am doing another monthly review post – I hope you enjoy it!
Today’s post is another monthly reflection just because I’ve had such fun doing them. I really plan to turn it into a regular (well… monthly) thing. April has certainly had its ups and downs. I’ve had some holiday from uni, which is always great, but also tons of other work and things to get done, so was it really a holiday? Hmmm …. Not really, but oh well.
Can you believe that March is already over? I feel like I say this whenever I reflect on how quickly the months go by, but honestly, time feels like it goes pretty slowly, and then you suddenly look up, and so much time has passed you can’t quite believe it. Anyway, I loved doing this reflection/favourites post at the end of February so much that I thought it would be really fun to turn it into a regular thing, especially since I’m trying these different challenges each month. Sooo here it goes again for this post!
This might be just me, but how crazy is it that February is already practically over?? Honestly, I don’t know how the time has gone by so fast… but with that being said, I thought it might be fun to do a little reflection post. I’ve always loved reading other blogger’s posts about their monthly reflections or favourites, plus I said I would do an update at the end of the month about my monthly eco-friendly/sustainability challenge soooo here it goes!
