Procrastination … an evil thing we all suffer from no matter how strong or organised we are. No matter what the cause of your procrastination is, it can be something very frustrating, especially if you actually want to get work done, so, in the spirit of true procrastination, I am not studying for my exams to write this blog post and share 3 small tips with you for tackling procrastination.
Water is arguably one of our most precious and vital commodities. After all, it’s the thing that makes Earth so unique. However, we quite simply use way too much water. Think about it – to prepare our foods, to wash and for personal hygiene, to clean everything else in our lives and more. Water is such a fundamental part of our lives, and yet, unfortunately, it is a resource that we are quickly realising is not indefinite. All over the world, though, I do believe that people realise we can’t just use as much water as we want and still think we’ll have plenty for years to come. However, I believe that we can all be more clever about saving water, so that is what my May eco-challenge will be all about. The ways in which I can try to save as much water as possible.
Today’s post is another monthly reflection just because I’ve had such fun doing them. I really plan to turn it into a regular (well… monthly) thing. April has certainly had its ups and downs. I’ve had some holiday from uni, which is always great, but also tons of other work and things to get done, so was it really a holiday? Hmmm …. Not really, but oh well.
Changing habits or making lifestyle changes can be a very overwhelming thing to try and do. Of course, we know we’re doing it for the right reasons. We definitely want the positive change that comes from it, but doing it can be pretty scary and intimidating. And that’s okay! Because quite frankly, it is a big task, taking something so inherent in your daily behaviour and making a conscientious effort to change it. It takes a lot of work, and with that, it can be quite a scary thing to embark on, but just because it’s scary doesn’t mean it’s impossible.
Earth day is a chance for us to celebrate what an amazing planet we live on but unfortunately, with the way we’re going, we may not be able to celebrate it for much longer. We all need to make positive changes together – that’s the only way we’ll be able to save our planet.
I cannot believe that this day actually arrived … Tall Blonde Tales has reached 1000 followers!!
I had so much fun with Small Talks doing our Disney-themed collab this year and because Disney is just so fantastic and something so many people can connect through, I’ve been lucky enough to be able to do another Disney questionnaire with Maggie from Maggie’s Doodles. I’ve always been a huge admirer of Maggie’s blog, and enjoyed doing her massive Disney tag so much that I jumped when she suggested we also do one. So today, because I just can’t get enough Disney and I hope you aren’t tired of all my Disney chatter, here is another Disney themed collab with Maggie’s Doodles – I hope you enjoy!
So today is going to be a Disney themed collab with Small Talks (you probably guessed that from the title but I do talk about Disney a lot so…). Both of us sent each other a list of Disney-themed questions and are going to share the answers on each others’ blogs. So, without further ado, here are my questions that Small Talks answered.
Today, I’m going to be sharing a really easy recipe for coffee chocolate brownies, for all those who just want a little extra kick to the traditional ooey gooey dessert. Plus, a fun little way to turn these brownies into a cute Easter(ish) dessert – I hope you enjoy it!
