I’m back from the digital beyond!

Helloooooo everyone!

It feels like it’s been forever so to start things off I want to say Happy New Year, even though we’re already quite certainly in 2022 already. I hope 2022 is a great year for you all and you achieve all the goals you set out to achieve.

Firstly, I wanted to say I know I’ve been gone for quite a long time, but after blogging for almost 3 years without a break, I really needed a little blogging holiday to refresh myself and just help me reset. For anyone who sent me emails or posted comments, thanks for checking in while I’ve been gone. I will get to them but I didn’t look at anything blog-related during my blog detox so I will catch up on it all soon.

This year, I’m going to be taking a slightly different approach with the blog. I’m going to limit my time on it, so that it doesn’t become as stressful and overwhelming as it did in the past. I’m going to split my posts between my more general lifestyle posts, and more uni-related posts, but my goal now is to only post once a week. My blog was always meant to be something fun, but it got to a point where it felt like work and I wasn’t sure if I still wanted to do it because I’d lost the inspiration. University is also really busy at the moment, and I don’t want to be writing blog posts just for the sake of publishing something twice a week.

I also want to give everyone a heads up – I’m heading into finals season at university (I have all of my final essays to work on and submit all in the next two months) so I may not be posting every week just due to my workload, but I will definitely get back into the blogging swing of things once those are submitted.

I hope you’ve all been having a good start to 2022 (what have you all been up to?), and I’ll hopefully be back next week to share some of the exciting stuff that’s happened in the last three months. Lastly, just before I sign up, what sort of posts would you like to see this year? In terms of uni-related posts, is there anything specific, or any lifestyle topics you’d like me to cover? Let’s chat in the comments section

Lots of Love

  2. Welcome back πŸ’— and Happy Belated New Year to you as well. Good luck with your finals, I really hope they go well. And I’m sure people will understand if you’re absent for a bit during them, lots of people seem to disappear for a while when studying or work get particularly hectic.
Good luck catching up on your comments too. I know how daunting that can be. It took me forever to organise my email when I disappeared. And I’d tried to sort it on & off during that time πŸ™ˆ
