Blogmas Day Nineteen – Christmas Collab with Aditi

Hellooooo merry readers!

Christmas is creeping closer and closer – are you all well and truly buried in all the holiday festivities yet? The only thing I’m buried under right now is a mountain of blankets because this South African is not built for this cold but otherwise it’s nice to be enjoying some Christmas spirit in a more relaxed manner.

Today I’ve got a really fun Blogmas post, that’s actually been a few months in the making. Aditi from What Are You Up To During The Lockdown? is one of my closest and oldest blogging friends and we’ve worked together quite a bit but over the summer we were planning to do an interview-style collabb where we ask each other some fun questions and then share each other’s answers. Because we were struggling to think of a theme for our questions, Blogmas was a huge savior for us because we both love Christmas, and decided some Christmas themed questions would be perfect. So, what we did is share a few questions with each other and answer all the questions (both our own and the ones sent by the other – 8 in total) and now we are going to share each other’s answers here in our blogs. It’s a really fun way of connecting with bloggers and a way of getting to know each other better, but also so you all can get to know us better too, so without further ado, here are Aditi’s answers to our Christmas questions.

1. If you were Santa Claus, what type of cookie would you want to be left out for you on Christmas Eve and why?Cookies are super delicious, but my favorites are definitely Chocolate-chip ones. Chocolate-chip cookies are absolutely amazing!

2. What is one thing you do that you think is the most important part of Christmas?
For me the most important part of Christmas is spreading the love and joy and spending time with family. I love baking cookies, decorating the tree and building snowmen with my family!

3. What’s the weirdest/ugliest Christmas decoration you’ve ever owned?
I honestly don’t think I have any weird or ugly ones, and that’s actually a surprise to me too. Maybe I’ll find one in the future?

4. If you were a Christmas drink, what would you be and why?
I would probably be Hot Chocolate. Hot Chocolate is so sweet and the marshmallows on top give it such an amazing flavor! I like to think of myself as sweet and cheerful and so this is definitely the drink I would be!

5. How would you spend the perfect Christmas day?
My perfect Christmas day would be to spend the entire day with my family. The first thing we would do is probably unwrap presents and take some photos. I would probably then be outside for a while and then be back and watch movies! We would then cook together in the kitchen and have lots of fun together!

6. Who’s your favourite Christmas character from a book/movie/show etc.?
If I had to pick one, I would probably pick Stacy de Novo from The Princess Switch because she is super talented and she’s super organized! 

7. What are your favourite Christmas traditions?
My favorite Christmas traditions are spending time with my family decorating the tree, wrapping presents and putting up lights!

8. What would be the best Christmas present in the world for you?
Anything I get with love from my friends and family is the best Christmas present in the world for me!
