Helloooo all my lovely readers!!
I hope you’re all having a great week so far?
So I’ve seen some bloggers doing these really fun ‘Unboxing’ posts and I thought it would be really fun if I could do some too, and I just so happen to have lots of material to work with!
During my first year of university, my mom and godmother decided to sign me up for a Therabox subscription. Therabox is a monthly self-care subscription box – it’s all about reducing stress and increasing joy through self-love. Every box includes one happiness/joy-boosting activity and 6-8 different self-care wellness goodies depending on what the theme of that box is.
The only problem with this really sweet gesture is I spent most of my first year in South Africa, so I couldn’t get any of the amazing boxes waiting for me. SO there were a stack of boxes gathering for me, and nothing I could do about it …
Well now I can do something about it! I’ve got all my boxes and I’m going to slowly unpack them all and enjoy all the little self-care goodies inside, so I thought it might be really fun if I could share that with you. Who knows, maybe I can convince some of you to try Therabox? Right, let’s open the first box!!
The theme of this box was ‘Flourish’
Inside this box there was an Avocado and Algae face mask. What I love about all these products is that they are vegan and free from chemicals so not only is it great for your skin, but they are decent products to use too that aren’t harmful to the planet.
There were also some amazing eco-friendly products. There were some reusable cotton towels to use instead of paper towels, that you can wash and reuse, or replace and used ones get upcycled. There was some eco-strip laundry detergent strips, and also some toilet tissue moisturizer… interesting to see how that works haha!
For my aging skin (considering I’m turning 21 tomorrow and stress levels are already up at university), there were collagen gel eye pads. Plus, some gorgeous smelling spritzer.
The happiness boosting activity were Curiosity Cards – they are interactive cards to help free your mind, and help you follow your dreams and live a happier life so I’ll let you know how those go!
What did you think of this Therabox unboxing? Did I do it right?? Also has anyone tried Therabox before, or tried something like this? What was your experience or your thoughts about it? Let’s chat in the comments section
Lots of Love
