Summer Competition Showcase: Entry #16, 17 & 18

Heyyyy all my lovely readers!

It’s the weekend once again, the world’s excuse for us to relax. Today’s showcase piece, or pieces, are the last of the art submissions. There are three entries I’ve got for you today, all beautiful interpretations of summer. Two are from a good friend Elena from university, and one is from Project Eco. Now enough of my yabbering, let’s look at art!

This first painting is from Elena, a lovely depiction of the amalfi coast in Italy.

This piece of art was submitted by Project Eco, as I’m sure you might have guessed by the theme. Not only is it summery (the beach always brings summer to my mind), but it also holds the important message of environmental sustainability and the impact we humans have on the environment.

These beautiful fruit were painted by Elena. Nothing quite says summer to me like fresh fruit.

And that’s the end of all the art submissions. What did you think of these beautiful pieces of art? Also, do you know who had your favourite? Now that the art category is closed, it’s time for you to start thinking which one you’re going to vote for. Good luck!

Lots of Love

  1. Liked the art pieces. Project Eco’s not just eye catching but also an eye opener. It shows us the reality of our golden beaches now polluted. It’s a good entry showing us the ugly truth.

Elena’s Amalfi Coast just got me wishing and itching to travel once again. Missing exploring new places and be in awe of the beauty of the world. But with the way things are in my country, I don’t think our lockdown’s ending anytime soon. 😦 Glad to see art that takes us places. And somehow, this also reminded me of Kevin Kwan’s new book, Sex and Vanity.

The fruit painting by Elena fits me right now as I want to squeeze some orange for breakfast! 🙂
