Happy Monday all you wonderful hoomans!!
How are you all doing? Are you ready for the week ahead? Are you excited for anything interesting?
Wow I do just realise I sounded like an overly enthusiastic parent dropping their kids off at school so sorry about that.
Anywho, today I bring you the next installment of the Summer Competition showcase – a wonderful poem by Snehal that I think really captures the essence of summer. I hope you enjoy it!
Breezy
Fluffy ice cream clouds,
The cherry of a red sun,
A swing bed underneath
And breeze through my hair.
An endless sky of things and thoughts,
Hues of orange, of pink and blue,
Wild birds up and above
And a flowery scent throughout.
A golden light intertwined
With the mad shadowy shapes,
Salty waters in my sight
And seashells buried in the sand.
No it isn’t a heaven,
(but maybe more than that)
It’s just I haven’t been on a vacation…
Can I get a beach home-delivered?
I don’t know about you but I would love to get the beach home-delivered except my body is not quite bikini ready yet and I don’t think I’d get anything done if that happened. What did you all think of the poem?? Share your thoughts in the comments section and let’s chat! 🙂
Otherwise, that’s all I have for you guys today, I’ll see you soon with either a new installment in my hotel quarantine diaries or the next showcase piece!
Lots of Love
