Guest posts and Summer Vacation

Heyyyy everyone!! 

I hope you’re all doing great and having a good week so far? 

The calendar has flipped to June, which means that summer vacation has either arrived or is within reach for many students out there. How exciting?!

I’m super excited for my summer holiday, even though I’ve already spent the first bit of it mostly doing work, waking up early and being pretty much just as busy as I am during university term time. I’m not quite sure how I managed to do that, but oh well. I’m keeping myself busy with my jobs, doing a short course online and attempting to respark my nonexistent exercise regime. Plus, I’ve also got the time to meet up with some friends, visit the bush and have dates with my boyfriend, so there’s definitely some relaxing going on. 

That brings me to the main part of today’s blog post. Two or three months ago, I put out a call for guest posts on my blog, and I got some really great responses. I also wanted to do some collabs with people, but unfortunately, I’ve had some technical difficulties, so I haven’t got some of the email correspondence with plans for those collabs. Soooo … if anyone who wanted to do a collab with me but somehow we never got to it, or still wants to do a collab with me, let me know in the comments section, or pop me an email (I’ll list it below). I would really love to do some more work with other bloggers and also learn from you so if you are interested in doing a collab, let’s chat!! 

I would also really love to invite anyone interested in doing a guest post on Tall Blonde Tales to reach out too. However, because it’s time for summer holidays, I thought it would be fun to put a bit of a theme on it. So here is everything you need to know if you want to do a guest post: 

• The theme is summer vacation. Your post can be about your plans for this summer, something you like to do during the holidays, favourite activities or pass times, your favourite summer recipe, bucket lists, even creative writing pieces or works of art that are summer-themed. Essentially, if it has anything to do with the summer holidays, then yes I would love to share it on my blog! 
• I’m keeping the deadline for this relatively open as I’m hoping this is something I can carry on for the whole summer, but if you want to be posted, please send it to me on Mondays (so I can post that week or maybe the week later). I’m also going to set a general deadline for the 10th of July, so if you’re interested, please try to send me something before then so I can also try to plan them out. 
• Please send all submissions via email to tallblondetales@gmail.com with the words ‘summer vacation guest post’ in the subject.

Otherwise, what are you most looking forward to about your summer holiday? No matter what it is, I’ll probably be jealous because as much as I’ve got some fun plans, we’re currently in winter and going through a cold front, so I’m freezing and trying my best not to resort to drinking litres of hot chocolate.
