Beautiful Blogger Award

Hellooooo there everyone I hope you are doing well. What sort of plans do you have for this weekend? I for one am reading in the rare British sun (it’s been sunny all week here and my university friends have been quick to tell me not to get used to it … how depressing). I will also be attempting to make a pie this weekend with apples from the garden tree and blackberries from the brambles on the wall (I genuinely feel like I’m living in an Enid Blyton book) so I’ll be sure to let you know how that goes. I could do a post about my two weeks in isolation, maybe my routine and stuff like that in next week’s post if you’d like? Let me know in the comments section!

Right, now I want to thank Anjali, again, from Chasing the Maximum life for nominating me for this lovely award. This is the first time I’ve received this award so I am over the moon and I really appreciate Anjali nominating me for this.   1. I am a huge Disney fan (undefeated Disney Trivial Pursuit champion) 
  2. I am terrified of chickens (but I still eat them).
  3. I love all vegetables except spinach.
  4. Not to copy Anjali but I have watched every episode of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. six times (I love it – stop judging me).
  5. I’m a big softie and romantic so I love romcoms, reading love stories and anything that involves a Happily Ever After
  6. I can quote almost all Disney films word for word (yup – a large part of my brain is purely Disney)
  7. I am useless when it comes to almost all social media

      1. I love Lilo & Stitch! Definitely one of my favorites! It is also so underrated, I feel. One of my favorites is Frozen 2…which I feel is like the Gen Z version of Disney, but it is just really good. However, there are a whole lot in my “favorite” list!! Ikr

      2. Same!! Stitch is the best I love everything about him and Lilo’s character is too cute for words. You’re right so underrated. Oooh Frozen 2 is a great one!! I preferred the soundtrack for the first one but still a really amazing movie!! I know my favourites list is so so long xxx

      1. Oh that’s awesome! Where did you move from? It’s a shame about covid, I hope it doesn’t ruin your uni experience for you. Are you here for a semester abroad or for the full duration of the course? My favourite Disney film is Beauty and the Beast 😊 what’s yours?

      2. I’ve moved from South Africa and I’m here for my whole degree (so three, hopefully 4 years) and yeah it is a shame but I’m sure it will still be great! Oooh that’s another favourite of mine (what were your thoughts about the live action remake?) but top one is probably Lilo and Stitch 😊💖

      7. It is disappointing when you’re favourite song doesn’t get featured…I remember going to a music concert for one of old favourite bands and they didn’t perform my favourite song. The concert was amazing, but I was gutted and couldn’t stop thinking about how they missed it out 😩

    I love Enid Blyton – I’ve read 70% of her novels ( there are so many!). Her books and Harry Potter are my childhood.

    Are you done with your two weeks isolation? How did it go? I had to do it when I flew back home mid-pandemic. But I had my family right outside my door to pamper me – so it wasn’t too bad.

    I love Disney, FRIENDS and am a total old school romantic. So much in common! ☺️

      Me too her novels are amazing I especially loved The St Claires and Malory Towers books what were some of your favourites?! Ahhh HP for the win!!

      Not yet I still have under a week to go but it’s going pretty well thanks!! Awww that sounds like it made it bearable at least.

      1. Malory Towers made me want to so badly attend a boarding school! I loved Famous Five and Secret Seven too. Her books helped me build an imagination as a child.

        Ooh still some time. Can’t wait to read about your experience!

        My favourite Disney movies have to be the ones with girl protagonists – Brave and Frozen! I love how they show that women don’t need men to be heroes. ❤️ I also loved Maleficent, the original Lion King, Ratatouille and so many others. 🙈 What about you?

        Friends favourite season has to be season 5 with Monica and Chandler’s love story kicking off and ending with that oh-so-deamy yet realistic proposal. 🥺😍 Your favourite season?

        Ooooh those are amazing and I’m with you they teach such a good lesson!! Those are all amazing! I have so many favourites too I love Lilo and Stitch, Lion King (not the live action – what were your thoughts on that by the way?), all the old Pixar movies especially Monsters Inc and so many more 😊❤️

        Ooooh that’s a great one!!! Those two were so great and chandler with the ring 😩🥺🥺🥺 I’d say season 4 just because so many fun things happen in that season but I also adore season 8 because of the new development with Rachel (not saying just in case someone reads this who hasn’t got there) 😂😂
